He could have done the interview as a racecar owner to an F1 driver. How bout the fact that Takuma Sato races for Dave? How bout the GP of America in NJ, which Vettel and Coulthard just did a promotional event for? How bout the USGP in Austin? Vettel kept trying to control the conversation, and talk about NJ, but Dave kept ignoring him, and just kept yammering about F1 racing on the oval at Indy. Vettel was pleading to Dave that explaining KERS is NOT what the audience wants to hear about. It was pathetic.

I couldn't agree more. Dave wouldn't let him speak and when he did he just cut him off again. Oval racing in an F1 car? No thanks. Even the F1 track at Indy was a snoozer. If Indy cars already race on ovals, why do we need to see F1 cars do it? The whole conversation made no sense, had no flow, and really made Dave look like an ignorant boob. Vettel probably walked away thinking "typical American..." which is probably fair after that interview. Didn't put us in a great light! Piss poor interview by someone who we know is a legitimate racing fan...
