Speaking of.... i'm sitting here trying to talk myself out of picking one of these camp hatchets up. Smaller than an axe but chops nearly as well yet ersatile enough to whittle or carve with. Curved part under the beard is sharpened for pull cutting, cleaning twigs off of tree limbs and what not. Top edge is sharpened for scraping, etc.. And if you need to chop though an exterior wall when your house is on fire, you can do that too. lol
