Yes, the 340 isn't much more car than a pre-lci N55. If you'd like to break it down part by part and piece by piece I'd be more than happy to do so.
What makes it so much more car? The engine? The small improvements to the BASE suspension? The kind-of better steering feel that still gets TONS of complaints?
What I was insinuating, rather, was that the B58 is what the F30 should have came with from the start. BMW did fuck us 335i guys, just like they'll eventually fuck you 340i guys.
The gap from 335i to 340i is nowhere near as big as 328i to 335i, and you're fooling yourself to think otherwise.

I have to disagree, I was forced to keep my N54 335i E90 car until the LCI F30 existed.
I will agree the current car should have been the first F30 car, but that didn't happen.
As far as fucking us over, howso? I and most leased because we already know a B58 carbon composite version is coming in the G20... and maybe even an AWD M3 which will allow at least me to have an M3 for winter duty.
