But there are two features which I appreciate. One is the look ahead feature - ease off now because speed limit is about to be reduced, junction ahead etc. Moderately useful on unfamiliar roads. It surprised me today when it told me that I was about to hit a new temporary 40mph speed limit on the M5. (How does it know that - OTA update?) The second is coasting mode. It is notable how many miles get chalked up in this mode at around 700rpm instead of perhaps 1000-1600 if not in coasting mode. So I am inclined to use the mode when cruising on motorway-type roads, or pootlng around suburbia.

Today, with a mixture of Eco Pro and Adaptive gave 53mpg from Surrey to N Wales in easy driving conditions.
I use EcoPro as well.

Were you using Nav when lookahead feature activated? OTA updates do give regional new POI/roads as well as traffic updates are better integrated. I do find the eco suggestions are increasingly useful.

Gotta love those diesel mpg's.
