Yosemite is awesome, I'm a Big Tahoe Fan, a hike down to Emerald Bay, plenty of other things to do around the lake.
The generic stuff is good to, Hwy 1, Napa Valley.
If you like wine, but not the snobbery of Napa, Livermore wine tasting is a good time.
