Yes you have to press it every time as far as I can tell. It's a little annoying as why would you spec it and then want to start the car in comfort mode every time. I'm hoping it's possible to change with some coding but I've not got that far yet. Normally I put it in adaptive and then change to sport+ when on a spirited drive. However since the MPPSK I'm mainly in Sport+ which is having a detrimental affect on my MPG!
