Yes that's correct. I think there's another thread on here where highlandpete gives a full description on the differences between adaptive drive and vdc. I know the driver profiles are different, but if I've bought an option for the car to be adaptive I'd still like to be able to default to that on startup. Just seems like it's been missed off the options by BMW.
