Hi all,

Had an interesting conversation with BMW Genius today regarding a delay in production of my 2019 M550i.

My car entered production on July 20 according to MyBMW so I called BMW Genius today to get a more up-to-date status. BMW Genius reported that my car is scheduled to complete production on Aug. 23 as all 2019 M550s are being "held" in production due to an issue with "engineering data". The BMW Genius rep was very helpful and diligent in trying to get more information but couldn't find anything additional at this point. Wanted to share in case anyone else hears similar or additional information.
