how old is the car?
That should obviously not occur. I would make sure you have a record of this should it ever reoccur so you have some ammunition for getting a replacement / software update or what ever is deemed necessary to fix.
I've had the rear camera fail twice in the first year . Just had the software upgrade to S15A 18-07-540 , whether that addresses it or not, time will tell.
