This is my point, there are so many factors in deciding on a car that the spec sheet isn't the end-all-be-all. Even small things, like the horrific clutch pedal feel on a G37, can be off putting to buyers.

Oh I 100% agree nothing can touch it, but that can be said for many segments yet the competition still sells.
