The other thing I picked up elsewhere on these forums is that lane change assistant is disabled if you have individual paint.
Paint is too thick if you go this route and interferes with the sensors behind the bumper.
(also apparently why repairs have to be sensitive to that fact)
so if you have individual pain, probably best not to try and enable as it is not expected to work properly.
