Vertical acceleration sensors are only in 550 and M5s.
The lateral and longitudinal sensors are combined in the B pillar but I doubt that's your issue I changed both of mine and have two perfectly good ones here if your Europe based can sell to you for cheap if you want to change them.
The ACSM also states it has same sensors internally but I don't believe that as why put the same in the B pillars also.
