I’m new to BMW and finding the options bewildering, so bear with me!

I’m looking at buying a G30, built in 2019 with iDrive 6. It has the comfort and M sport pro packs. So it has enhanced Bluetooth and Wi-Fi hotspot. The main dealer tells me it does not have CarPlay, and it is not possible to add it in. Is this true? My preference is to take the one time hit and pay £260 or whatever it is to get it activated via ConnectedDrive rather than start messing with coding (because I’m new to it and it seems daunting!) but it’s a real shame as the car otherwise looks great.

I really am getting the impression that main dealers don’t understand the tech in the car. Or they are just playing dumb. But they certainly aren’t really explaining it.
