Yeah, this past year it has definitely felt like it was a car built on a Friday, if you know what I mean. It also doesn't include the bent tie rod I replaced earlier this year after hitting a monster pot hole. That one's not BMW's fault, so not in the list above...but it was still a nice hit to the wallet.
My current plan was to keep the car for about 3-4 more years, then get something cheaper for a little while (as I'd be putting a 16-year old on car insurance!) If this stuff keeps up, it may be cheaper to start that plan early :-( I'll miss the getupandgo, though. 99% of the time it brings a smile to my face - the only time it didn't was when it got me a speeding ticket a few months ago, but that's another story :-)
