I bought one new back in the day, also a '93. Fantastic car to drive - build quality, not so hot. Thinnest sheet metal of any car I ever owned before or since. Really showed its economy car roots in a lot of ways. But for the money, a really cool car on many levels too.
The one I miss the most? My Scirocco 16V, which I owned for a decade, longest I've ever owned any car. I had a ton of fun with that thing. Was even featured in
european car in 2005.
