You can have your PPF to be installed without removing panel, but that means your PPF won’t tuck in inside the panel gap. Instead the PPF will have few mm cut gap between panel gap. It’s like a sticker. Overtime this gap would collect dust and dirt build up. A good PPF installer would tuck in the PPF.

How are you going to tuck in the PPF without removing bumper ior door handle? Impossible.
As for longevity of PPF, you can research yourself. A very good PPF lasts max 5 years in which case it needs to come off the car or it will stick with the car paint.
