If the brakes aren't holding the car still, I expect that would prevent the car from activating Launch Control. "Brake pedal all the way to the floor" means you have to push it
hard. Presumably your brakes also have to be healthy. Also I'm curious, are you running a stock trans tune?
Aside from pushing the brake harder, has Launch Control been used many times on the car? I believe that after a certain number of launches (~100?) it is automatically disabled.
