BMW 5-Series Forum (G30) - View Single Post - If I use BMW LL-01 oil instead of BMW LL-14 FE+ will I be voiding warranty?

So the manual for my 2019 540i lists both LL-01FE (0W-30 per BMW parts, 5W-30 per LiquiMoly) and LL-14FE+ as suitable engine oil types. And yet on every one of my oil services performed by the dealer I bought the car from, they used 83-21-2-463-674 BMW GROUP LL-17 FE+ or the replacement 83-21-5-A42-D32 BMW GROUP LL-17 FE+ (0W-20). Seems odd the dealer service dept is not using what the manual recommends unless they are going by internal service bulletin that states different oil.
