Why do this? Doesn’t pressing and holding the TC button turn off stability control and traction control, while directing almost all power to the rear wheels? I ask because I do this and manage to hoon around quite effectively, achieving full, smooth drifts without the snapback associated with all-wheel drive. Just wondering what the benefit is, especially considering the potential for damaging your clutches and differential.
