When I picked up my M550ix (used) from Kelowna BMW in British Columbia, it had non run flats, but no spare. Apparently in Canada you get a tire inflator kit with that goop stuff and a air compressor. All packed away in a corner of the trunk. I kinda complained, and the salesman laughed and said if I really wanted one, I could have one for free, as another customer picked their 540ix up that week and when they saw how much trunk space it took up, they left it behind in the service dept. They had a service tech grab it and place it in the trunk for me...only problem, it was missing the jack...but it wasn't too expensive to pick one up online.
