Ah, I was thinking about a 3 series and did research on them so maybe that's where I am getting confused. It's strange that the 3 and 5 sports seats are, by all accounts, so different, maybe I got it into my head that sports seats in general are not good for long distances but it sounds like the 5 sports seats would be fine. Trouble is with seats is that what feels ok on short journeys is sometimes not good at all day driving and you only find out once it's too late hence why I want to know before I buy. My current F10/F11 standard SE spec seats are supurb on long distances but similar don't seem to be available on the G series cars. Thanks for all your inputs
