2 of the schools require it, 8 of them either "recommend" or "highly recommend" them . If worst comes to worst, I can just send my bad SAT 2 scores and hope for the best.

If I don't take the SAT 2s in Dec. I can't take them at all, because the you can't take the SAT 2 as a standby, which is what I would have to do for the SAT if I took it in November.
