I did this as a kid. Brand new home, literally, new construction. We had lived in it for about a month. I put dish washing soap in the in the dishwasher. We had never owned a dishwasher before and it was my first time doing the dishes at the new house. Completely filled up the reservoir with Dawn rather than dishwasher soap and started it. I can still remember my mother losing her mind when she saw 4 foot of foamy sudsy bubbles throughout the entire house. It was a bad day for everyone.
