That has always been my expectation of third party warranties.
I went with it since the dealer was selling it and their service dept was endorsing it, as they had no issues with claims over the past few years.
My problem with extended warranties is everytime I bite, I never end up needing it, and when I pass, then a problem arises and I wished I had it.
