What's interesting is that I don't think they'll discontinue the 5D2 or lower the price by much. It's still a great camera, and there is enough of a difference in prices between the 5D2, 5D3, 1Dx that it'll remain in their lineup.
I was hoping for the 5D3 to be closer to $3k, but oh well.
