The hangers for the exhaust definitely had to be relocated if I wanted to go through with the m5 diffuser. We did take of the rear panel.
Yeah the shop I was working with ended up returning the parts. We never went through with it because all of the custom work that was required, so I'm not 100 percent sure on fitment for those parts but we didn't see any reason why they wouldn't fit.
I'm surprised your dealership doesn't accept returns on parts

Sounds like a whole lot of headache. I'll probably just stick with the M5 M Performance style diffuser that I already got.
