I’ll give you that BEV from PHEV is a significant change and would be a justifiable reason to switch, regardless of make and model.
But that said, there’s just no compelling improvement in finish or material or options. It’s just the same stuff (maybe even less stuff) in a different wrapper. And it’s a less attractive wrapper!

I'd definitely love the power, but I'm still to young to be trusted with that much power
But I work from home, and have for over a decade now. It is just not justifiable for me to spend that much money on a car I don't even have an actual commute to use it on.
Hopefully the COVID price bubble bursts and BMW becomes a lot more sane like they were in 2019 pricing wise.
