My name is Paul and i have a 4 door '04 120d (163 bhp). I am looking to restore it to a mint condition and to improve it with some mods.
I've created this thread because I want all of your advice on what I want to do and what I could do.
The car has:
• The Aerodynamic Pack
• Sport Leather Seats
• Steering Wheel Comands
Problems:
• Left head-light not working ( some genius hit the car and ran off )
• Front bumper chipped
• Rear bumper is missing an ornament
• The clutch is slipping
• The acceleration pedal is falling off
What i want to do:
• Replace the Aero Pack with the Performance Pack
• Rear Bumper with Parking sensors
• Install the Illuminated door sill strip retrofit kit
• Replace the Headlights with a retrofit facelift kit

- If somebody knows what parts and stuff I need , don’t be shy
- I have Bi-Xenon headlights
• Carbon wrap the mirror covers, grills and the interior silver trim
• Change the CD player because it’s an aftermarket and it doesn’t support AUX
• Make an iPhone Dock in the ashtray
• Install a Cup Holder
• Install the Dash Storage Compartment
• Replace the Clutch and Pedals
• Get a Roof Rack and a luggage box
• Get a new Exhaust (not sure which one yet)
• Better Sound Insulation for the engine compartment
• Get some bigger wheels (Rotiform BLQ ; VMR V710s or some ADV1s)
• Put some Toyo R888s on those wheels
• Get a sport suspension and lower the car to the limit OR (this is the big one) install an Air Lift sistem
- I guess not many BMW owners do this but I would try to give it that low dub look that Vw and Audis have
• Full Detail Process ( Interior , Exterior , Engine , AC system )
I’ve attached a picture of the car so you can get a general ideea of the whole project.
