I have not had inadequate power in 14 months and I doubt I will BUT it is nice to know it is there if one suddenly needs it when passing at high speeds.

Agreed, the drivetrain in the new 745e and x5 edrive would be a nice upgrade. I miss the BMW in-line 6. Such a smooth engine
