So i randomly came over a youtube video of someone showing bimmercode to code some pretty cool stuff to their BMW.
I got me new Car just about 3 weeks ago and decided to buy the Vgate iCar Pro that they were using in the video, and have the intention to buy the app as soon as i get my OBD reader.
After finding this forum and checking the link posted above
http://www.bimmercodeapp.com/cars/g30/ i can see that a bunch of the conding options that i want to do to may car has a restriction "This coding option requires an “UniCarScan” or “OBDLink” OBD adapter."
My question now being a complete neewbie to this is does the Vgate pro count as a OBDLink? Or is that another reader so if i wanna do these options i have to buy another one?
I understand i maybe should have done this research before i made my purchase, but i guess if i cant use it fully i will have to take my loss and buy another one that can do what i want to do.
