The general consensus is that if they look hard enough they can tell that it was tuned.
With any tune, even Dinan, if there is an issue with the car and BMW decides it's from the tune, your warranty will not pay for it.
If you have a Dinan tune and BMW decides it's causing the issue, Dinan will pay for it.
