I am running JB4 map 3 on my 20 540i. I also have BMS intake.
No issues installing. You do not need the Bluetooth adapter. You can buy the $35 BMS data cable, which you can run into the car with the odb cable.
From there you can use the free software on your computer to change maps, log runs, etc.
Or, you can buy the moving app and use an OTG adapter to plug into your phone, which is what I do.
