Needed to get some new skates to fit around the broken ankle, went with the new S2's - didn't think it was worth the extra $300 to get the S2 Pro's - besides, I'll leave those top level skates for my kid, since he's NHL level (or an entitled millennial
). I can get 2nd steel in the carbon black and get the pro foot inserts if needed...and save $150.
Ran two practices in them, good foot has some rubbing, as they're a tad loose on that foot. Broken foot feels good so far. Game Thursday, wish me luck!
