But my phone was previously saved on iDrive before with a screen Mirroring device 
Today I've tried it again but none of the controls (screen touch, idrive joystick roll, touchpad nothing)  If somehow car controls, especially the touch function of the screen or touchpad on the idrive joystick may be made to work on Dex that would be awesome and will definitely beat the Android Auto  |
I'll give it a go with my tablet and report back
