245/35/20 should work ok fron and back without a problem but original is 245/35/20 in front and 275/30/20 in the rear, I would follow that ☺
Thanks once again. I remember reading somewhere that for winter narrower the wheel the better for a smaller footprint on snow. So I am not super keen on getting something too wide for the back and I am okay with the square setup. But then the question is if the 245 tire would fit the rear 9" rim?

If the front rim is 8" then wouldn't the 255 tire be too wide for it anyway? In that case wouldn't the widest possible option up front be 245?

I can't find any 245/35/20 in my local classifieds anywhere. The closest I get is 245/ 45 r 20s which you're suggesting won't really work anyway?
