At request of a member, more photos of my current V1 setup. I still have not decided on a spot to put the remote display. I usually like it to the left of the instrument cluster for quick reach to push mute button but there is no good flat spot to mount it. I am trying to find a lower profile solution for the remote. I took my old one apart in my RS6 to make it smaller but did not dissect the newer one yet (newer version works with the Junk-K Fighter).

The arrows:

3rd picture shows latch to removed the panel, there are two, comes off easy, just two snaps on the left and right.

4th picture, tuck wire under this edge

5th Picture: The rubber pad comes up and you can fish the wires down to beside the seat to pull it up there. I used a coat hanger to help do this.

6th picture, COULD NOT GET THIS PANEL OFF WTF? Did not want to brake it, usually these panels come out easily, so the wire is tucked under the weather stripping, not my first choice. If you have removed one before let me know the secret!

Along the windshield at the A pillar, lay the wire flat against the window and tuck it in with a firm card like a credit card or plastic pusher (something that will not scratch the glass or mar the head liner. Along the top of the windshield the wire pushes in easily.

I did not want to cut into the mirror wires for the "mirror" tap which is a great choice also. I have the Dongle for the Blue Tooth connection to my iPhone if I want to run the V one software on the phone. The cigarette lighter does time out after a few minutes, fortunately.
