I picked up this beauty at a dealer in the state last Saturday. I've been looking for a M550i to replace my 2015 X5 50i. Was going to wait for the LCI, but there's good deals now and I'm impatient. They ordered it with the carbon fiber mirror caps, black side grills, the kidney grills, and the carbon fiber spoiler. That suited me perfectly as I'm not a fan of the cerium grey parts.

The tech blows away my X5, which I thought was modern. I had the Dinan Stage 1 in my X5 so the power level is about the same, but I'm amazed how much less turbo lag there is in the M550i. Must be the new N63TU3. That and losing a thousand pounds makes this scoot like no car I've ever owned. The only thing I really miss from my X5 is the AC Schnitzer exhaust notes and the utility.

Not happy about the run flats and no spare, but they're leap years better than the run flats I had on my old 335is, those were awful.
