The inside pads aren't hitting the rotor evenly.

I've seen them where only the middle hits on a single piston caliper. On ours, perhaps one of your pistons is binding causing that pattern. It's not the rust...it's that the pads aren't cleaning the rust off I think.

The pistons or the calipers aren't sliding as they should.
