This photo was taken on Australia day, 26th of January when it is normally scorching hot back home downunder. This was outside my house in Newport News, Virginia. It didn't snow often there but when it did, it sure was beautiful.
PS, Australia day aside, we would display both a US and Australian flag on our home - with correct order of deference to our hosts.

Very nice! We just had our first measurable snowfall overnight. I'm not ready for winter yet... I've never visited Australia but when i was in the US Navy back in the late 1980s, our ship got about a day away from Perth where we were supposed to spend a couple of weeks. But something happened in the Middle East, so we turned around and we never went to Perth. I really wish I could have visited.
