All the former N55 engines (found on the 135i/235i/335i/435i/535i and .35i SAVs) will be upgraded to the all-new 3.0-liter inline six, called the B58,
which smoothly delivers 320 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque
For comparison:
0 to 60 on the B58 340i is something like 4.5 secs with xDrive/Auto compared to the 5.1 secs on the out going the N55 335i xDrive/Auto.
