Did you test drive an M550 on run flats to determine ride quality? I think the brand of run flat tires make a difference in ride quality. Based on some of the posts I have seen, I think the lack of ride comfort with run-flats is exaggerated. My car came with Continental run-flats and the ride is very smooth, quiet and surprisingly soft.

2022M550i. He mentioned that it could be reset in iDrive.
Yes, I have driven several 2022 5 Series with both run flats and non run flats. I find that the run flats are more harsh.
