I took it in today and our local dealer does a walkthrough of the engine and undercarriage upon arrival with the customer. They didn’t notice the Dinan until I pointed it out. They weren’t concerned and said to pull it off if it’s related to engine work so the third party warranty doesn’t void.
Otherwise they pulled the maintenance history on the car for me and then scheduled repairs, replacements, or checks for any known G30 550 issues since my factory warranty ends on the 23rd. Top tier service for sure!
Looks like the car was a CPO in 2019, but that didn’t transfer over to the new owner…and it’s eaten three Vanos actuators, HPFP, and catalytic converter before it rolled 10k miles, now at 26k.
