I have activated this function on my G30 with iD6 and with 5AS. But auto activation is not working. HUD and cluster suggest you to update speed limit and you need to push the button on the wheel to update the speed. Check my topic for details:

Additionally, auto update or suggestion to update the cruise control speed doesn't work. At least I couldn't activate it no matter how many codes I have tried.
