1) don't scrub the area and don't attempt an emergency clean with a paper towel.
2) even though it happened while working a quick detailer and micro-fiber towel are nice to have in trunk.
3)wash area with car wash soap and quality towel/ or cloth/ or non silicone sponge.
The products I suggest are isopropyl alcohol, polish and wax / plus applicators and towels.
Trick is use the products-let product work don't press and use the friction of the applicator.
So wash and dry then use wax or polish or isopropyl, use all three or any combo end with polish then wax.
