The television stopped displaying most channels in my 2019 G31 too. The problem started when abroad, but a few months later, occurred in the U.K. too. The scan would pick up tens of channels, but hardly any showed up in the programme guide and usually said ‘No Signal’ when trying to watch them (BBC, ITV, C4 very occasionally worked). Initially, the dealer upgraded iDrive under warranty, but this didn’t fix it.
The dealer then replaced part of the headunit (the part had to be express delivered from Germany) and did a firmware update on the headunit. It then all worked again. All fixed under warranty.
