I went back to my country and it is working there so I didn't do anything. I suppose if I wanted it to work in new country, I would need to recode it there. By default it worked in Germany only, after coding by the dealer it is now working in my country(Serbia) but not in Germany or any other country.
It seems bmw didn't do much work/testing regarding this option but they were fine to charge it like $1,500 as an option.
