Mine has been "Awaiting Carrier Assignment" for over a week. Today's Genius thinks this may just be a delay in his system updating.
I'm skeptical; but I guess there's not much they can actually do to either investigate further or resolve any issues, so they're probably trained to just say everything's fine.
