As I read an article (which I cannot find now...
), it seemed the only required purchase was for the portion of the charging system that ties to your household power (likely 240VAC @ 30A?). It inferred that the 2018 MY had the inductive coupler on the car side installed as a standard item.
I'll keep looking for that article.
