One simple word "BLUE-RAY", is the future of all movies.
I really think that games flow and work a little better on PS3, i have both, and i must say that x-box live is alot better then ps3 online, but if it took you 2 years to convince your wife to get a gaming system, then think about the future and go with the ps3 because of the blue ray and WI-FI capability.
