Maintenance contracts are separate from warranty contracts. The maintenance "plus" contracts that BMW offers are actually a decent deal "if" you think you are going to blow through brakes quickly and frequently. That's the big ticket item in terms of maintenance and the only way to "win" is to have more brake jobs than they account for in their pricing model. Beyond that, fluids and flushes are pretty cheap even at the dealer, I would not pay in advance for these via a contract. Keep your money in the bank and earn 5%+.

I was a CPO/BMW sold warranty guy that did not want any hassle of the third party, but I have taken a chance on Route 66. It covers more for more years and it was too cheap to pass up.
